On May 22, 2025, a meeting was held between the staff of the Laboratory for the Study and Preservation of Minority Languages and Petr Nikolaevich Tultaev, Chairman of the All-Russian Public Movement "Association of Finno-Ugric Peoples of the Russian Federation." The participants of the meeting discussed the linguistic situation in the Republic of Mordovia and existing corpora for Finno-Ugric languages (primarily Mordvinic languages). The staff presented digital resources (the website "Minority Languages of Russia" and the corpus platform) being developed in the Laboratory.

On June 25, 2024, an open session of the scientific seminar of the Laboratory for the Study and Preservation of Minority Languages at the Institute of Linguistics of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) was held. Maria Emiliya Aleksandrovna Winkler and Anastasia Pavlovna Yevstigneyeva (Scientific Center for the Preservation, Revival, and Documentation of Languages of Russia, Institute of Linguistics, RAS) gave a presentation on "The Project for Documenting the Mitagi-Dzhalganski and Azerbaijani Languages: Initial Observations."

From May 29 to 31, the international conference CHRONOS 15: 15th International Conference on Actionality, Tense, Aspect, Modality/Evidentiality was held in Toulouse, France.
One of the staff members of the laboratory, D. D. Mordashova, presented a report titled "Variable-force modality and inevitability in Tatyshly Udmurt: the case of the -(o)no modal form."
